Dwarf blue bachelor buttons, otherwise known as cornflowers, a smallet version of other bachelor buttons, growing at just 12-24 inches tall but this doesn't mean they're any less stunning than their taller counterparts.
These pretty mini-flowers produce fully double blue blooms.
Another benefit of these beautiful blooms is that they attract bees, butterflies, and pollinators, as an added bonus these flowers are completely edible and are often used in tea making.
***Planting Instructions***
Plant bachelor buttons in the fall if you're wanting a springtime bloom. Alternatively, you can also plant in early spring, 2-3 weeks before the last frost.
Grow bachelor buttons in full sun (at least 6 hours of sunlight is necessay), but they also need partical shade (especially in the hottest part of the day), too much shade however is not a good idea as this will cause the flower to become leggy and fall over.
These seeds can be sown directly into the ground, but keep in mind that these flowers will burn up if the temperature gets too hot.
These flowers will do well in most types of soil.
