True Jicama is a wonderful, very rare, treat. It's a little on the hard side to grow, but your efforts will be rewarded. This is a root crop, and it is also called a Mexican potato. You can make all kinds of things with this True Jicama--both raw and cooked. These have been around for a few hundred years, and they require a warm hot growing season in order to thrive.
