Red spring wheat

A great dual-purpose wheat (Triticum aestivum) variety that can be used as a cool season cover crop or food. The grain seeds are rich flavored with a higher protein content than most other wheat types, and are ideal for grinding and mixing with white winter wheats to improve mixing and dough handling.

Here is some fun facts about growing wheat:

Red wheat. Will make tasty wheat grass, with a  slightly full traditional taste.  

   Great for planting a little just to gaze at in the summer. 

  Great for dry flower arrangements as a filler.
