Red bachelor buttons

Bachelor buttons often referred to as cornflowers come in an abdundance of shades from blue, pink, purple, white and sometimes almost black. They're edible flowers which are often used in tea making and you will attract small birds to your garden as they bloom year after year in the same spots once they have become established.
These pretty, fragrant flowers will truly add a stunning sense of colour to any garden.

***Planting Instructions***

 Plant bachelor button seeds in the fall if you're intending for a springtime bloom. Alternatively you can also plant in early spring, 2-3 weeks before the last frost.
Grow bachelor button seeds in full sun (at least 6 hours of full sun is necessary) but they also need partial shade, too much shade will cause the plants to become leggy and fall over. 
In addition, these flowers will burn up if the temperature gets too hot.
These plants will do fine in most types of soil.
