Sow outdoors March to October thinly, 1.5cm (½ in) deep in a well prepared seed bed, in rows 30cm (12in) apart. Keep soil moist. Thin to 10cm (4in) apart for mature plants or harvest un-thinned for baby leaf.Harvest: June to October. Keep well-watered in dry and hot conditions. Pick when young and tasty.
