Purple Beauty Bell Pepper has a maturity date of 70 days from transplant. This Heirloom, open- pollinated variety, is very easy to grow and very productive.
It produces loads of thick skinned, purple, 3x3 in. bell peppers that are purplish from the beginning. A great pepper for the North, you will be picking well before your first frost. It doesn't require super hot days either.
So to all you folks in coastal or mountain regions, choose this one! It's an awesome variety that produces quick and a lot. To our farmers market friends, you will be adding early color and flavor that you can't get at the super market.
Sow seeds indoors ¼” deep. Peppers germinate best in warm soil, so gentle bottom heat may be helpful until seedlings emerge. Wait to transplant outdoors until soil is warm.
Start Indoors: 8 weeks before last frost
Germination: 14 Days
Plant Outdoors: 12-24” Apart
Light: Full Sun
Happy growing!!!
