Ox Heart Heirloom Tomato

The Ox Heart Heirloom Tomato is an all-time favorite variety; it's an Heirloom and Non-GMO. A favorite of the Amish, its meaty flesh makes it great for canning and explains how it gets its name. Because of it's shape, it has been known to get up to three pounds with a one-pound average. Because it's an indeterminate, you will have Ox Heart tomatoes until frost. We recommend starting about six weeks from set out planting date. These five foot tall plants will need support. The tops of the tomatoes will have a yellowish hue while the rest of the tomato will be a deep red. You can only get the best of these Heirlooms tomatoes when you buy tomato seeds online!
