This is a standard, solid core, go-to carrot that's great for soups and stews. Very cold tolerant and great for succession planting and companion planting. You can over winter in zone 5 and above; it will field hold if mulched. Or, just get them out before the ground freezes. No homestead is complete without these carrots that have nice long tops. Perfect for your CSA boxes and farmers market tables. Our packets have about 500 seeds with 18,000 seeds in our ounce packs.
