Muncher Cucumber

The Muncher Cucumber is one of the favorite snacking cucumbers! It has a maturity date of about 55 days and will give you loads of snacking cucumbers that are always sweet and hardly ever bitter. These are very prolific and a must-have at farmers' markets. Did you know that most supermarkets don't carry these? For best results use a trellis--about a four-foot-tall plant, about a half-inch down, and six to eight inches apart. Cucumbers are best direct-seeded. If you must transplant, be very careful with the roots. Try to use peat pots if possible.
