Midnight watermelon

Here it is ladies and gentlemen  finally a super fast growing ice box sized watermelon that can be grown anywhere in the usa.  60 to 65 days from seed. 

   It's near seedless at the eating stage.   It has a dark green almost black. Rind and bright red super sweet flesh.        

   The seeds are alittle spendy but to those of us in a northern area where regular watermelon have a hard time you will have success with this one. 

   Here in zone 6b we can have a melon for our markets for the 4th of July weekend.  

   And we plant the last ones in mid July.  For mid September harvest.
