This winter squash variety is a big squash will get up to two feet long sort of looks like a cross of a banana and butternut and is all heirloom non gmo open pollinated .     And comes from Italy and has a great flavor and texture will store for a long time

  Will take around 100 days and will need the fall frost hit to fully intensify  the flavors 

Direct sow in warm soil after the last frost

Seed indoors 2-3 weeks before the last frost and transplant

Plant 3 seeds per hill spaced several feet apart

Harvest before heavy frost

Cure for 7-10 days in the sun to harden the rind

Store in a cool dark place with 50-55ºF temperatures and 50-65% humidity
