The best time to plant larkspur would be in the spring or autumn because at these times of the year the soil is warm and moist.
Larkspur grows well in well-draining soil.
Taller varieties of larkspur may need some form of support as stakes as they grow because the taller they become, the heavier they will be so they're likely to fall over.
