The Iceland Poppy is a hardy perennial, with large, colorful flowers that bloom in the spring and again in the fall. With its feathery blue-green foliage and lightly fragrant blooms, it's perfect for creating a stunning pop of color in any garden or bouquet. Hardy in zones 3b to 10a, it's an easy and versatile choice for any garden.

Sow seeds in early spring in well drained soil as soon as the ground can be worked. Plant at 1/8 inch deep and cover lightly. Keep the soil moist and germinations should take place in 14-21 days. Thin to 8-12 inches. Poppies prefer full sun and require little water once established.

***Planting Instructions***

Poppies need to be planted into soil that has already been watered.

They grow best in full sun. Once planted they need to be well-watered but not water logged.

The best time for planting poppies would be from March until May and they'll bloom from July to October.

Most varieties of poppies are drought-resistant and will attract bees and butterflies.

Deadhead these flowers if you're not wanting further seeds.   This is a great variety for potted plant sales
