Golden Ace Acorn Squash

Maturity date: 80 to 90 days

The Golden Ace winter squash is Non-GMO garden seed and all are Heirloom. These are a bright golden orange color when ripe. Perfect for fall displays, they have a deep orange flesh and a wonderful flavor. They are on the smaller side, 2 or 3 pounds each, but we can occasionally get a 5 to 7 pound average on a good squash year. Grow like you would any winter squash. These will vine; we plant them one foot apart and have 3 foot rows. Most of the time its wall to wall squash. For our farmers market friends, these will fly off your table. They are a rare heirloom variety and are one of the first orange winter squashes to be ready.
