This is an all Heirloom, Non-GMO, giant leek. One of the best leek varieties--hands down! It's also a very cold tolerant vegetable; it will over winter just about anywhere. In zones 4 and above, we recommend starting 2 months before transplanting. These are best when 16 to 18 inches high; they will get bigger than that, but that's when they are at their best.
