Firecracker sunflower

The firecracker sunflower is a multi branching compact dwarf size sunflower that is well suited for cut flowers as well as containers. Or the middle rows of the garden.  To our farmers market friends this variety will make excellent potted plants for your markets.  The blooms are 4 to 6 inches.  Big blooms for a 3 to 4 foot sunflower.   And the colors are stunning. Fire Crackers Sunflowers are one of the easiest and most beautiful varieties to grow. They have a greenish-yellow center that is perfect for brightening up a patio or garden. This variety makes a great addition to any garden as it can be pruned by cutting it off from the ground when not in use but will look stunning when pruning!
