Di Cicco Heirloom Broccoli

Di Cicco Heirloom broccoli grows great in about any zone from 3. It is cold tolerant and will withstand a frost but not a heavy freeze. This Heirloom garden seed produces nice medium sized, tight heads and many side shoots. We recommend transplanting these; broccoli is a breeze to transplant since the roots don't mind being disturbed. You can expect the main heads to be ready from 50-90 days, depending on size and conditions. The Di Cicco side shoots is great news for our homesteading friends who like to can or freeze some of their harvest, because after you enjoy the main head, you will get lots of side shoots into the fall.
