This is a heirloom  iceberg type that dates back to the late 1800s.  THE NEWYORK 12.   WILL PRODUCE 12 INCH ACROSS  TIGHT HEADS OF LETTUCE. THE ENDS OF THE LEAFS WILL BE SLIGHTLY  CURLED. AND WILL GROW IN HEAT IN THE COLD. DOESNT MATTER WILL JUST KEEP ON GROWING. TAKES ABOUT 75 DAYS FROM SEED.  PRETTY QUICK FOR A ICEBERG OF THIS SIZE
