This old cantaloupe was brought forth by the old settler women in the older times. Full of flavor, these are wonderful Heirloom melons! They are a medium sized cantaloupe, the type that will hold up and grow in areas that are larger. Modern ones don't do so well, and our Heirloom Collective Farm Woman handles the weather changes from hot to cool and back to hot a little better. We grow this one ourselves for fresh taste and get sales for this reason. And just think of the cool history of this variety--to be on a wagon trail and perfected by an early frontier woman who wanted her family to have fresh cantaloupe.

Collective Farm Woman (Personal Melon) is a wonderful all-purpose melamine that has been used in the past as an alternative to natural vegetable seeds for the purpose of making a unique and nutritious variety. We have used organic melons that are high in protein and high in fiber.
