Cameron Lettuce

Cameron Lettuce is red, romaine lettuce that is medium dark, crisp and sweet. It tastes great and adds color to your salads. Heat tolerant, this is a great choice for microgreens and will add color to your baby leaf bags. Will do great for succession planting. We suggest every two weeks from middle of February to mid-September; you can start picking at around 30 days. We blanket seed the are for all our leaf lettuce to keep the weed pressure down and thin. Those thinned go into the baby leaf or on the table; then the area that was thinned, we put in the tomato transplants. This is a combination of succession planting and companion planting.

Camelons are a beautiful and delicious variety of green to red lettuce. They have deep, deep green leaves that have been shaped with a very sharp cut and their shape is very similar in appearance as to how they look on a mature mature. Cammon has a deep and rich green flavour and is a firm favourite.
