Calabrese is a smaller, heading broccoli with an abundance of smaller shoots. This is a definite Heirloom seed for sure. Very cold tolerant, so succession planting is encouraged; it can be tightly spaced. We recommend companion planting with or after Fava beans so your soil is right. Trust us, you will want to have a side shooting broccoli for your homestead and your farmers market
