The blacktail mountain watermelon

 Was bred in the north for northern growers. 

 It's open pollinated  not a hybrid. 

 Will thrive in any area of the usa.   Will mature from seed in the northern areas  with no issues.  40 degree nights no issues.  They produce nice ice box sized watermelon   you should have a 10 pound average 

  Will have a dark almost black outer rind  and a bright 

  Red. Flesh that's as sweet as any 

   This one is truly cold tolerant 

    You won't find this seed at a big box store

  Plant early Plant often 

     Farm to fork
