Black Beauty Eggplant seeds are a great garden seed. This is from a transplant; and as an Heirloom variety, these are easy to grow. This is the standard, all-time favorite eggplant. It is nothing fancy, but it's what everyone thinks of when you say eggplant. The Black Beauty Eggplant makes excellent fried slices and will grill up some awesome veggie burger slices. Highly productive, once this gets going you can pick 2 or 3 times per week. It will give you tons of standard uniform eggplant that will be perfect for grilling. These are also a good weekly staple for your farmers market sales and CSA boxes. These seeds are tiny and best started in trays. Eggplant is not cold hardy at all, so needs to be transplanted. Crop. We recommend the black seed trays so the sun can warm them.  You might want to plant a few at a time so you will be picking early. For our farmers market friends, you should plant about one pack of Black Beauty Eggplant seeds per market. One pack contains 150 seeds, and an ounce holds about 6000 seeds.      .let's get your seeds started  eggplant. As a rule are slow going to get started.     You want to start peat pots or.  2inch plug tray flats.  And.  To start with don't push your seeds into the soil. Fill the pots up half way. With soil. Then. Put your seeds in then sprinkle dirt on them. 

     Next. Is.  Don't over water them. Eggplant.can take 7 to 12 days just to sprout up.  

     And keep them warm with plenty of light

    Then in about  6 to 8 weeks you can transplant  them. You wanna  space them. About a Foot apart 

 And the rows about 3 feet apart  this will give you to work between the rows 

      Finally here's a trick.  For our northern  gardener  

    Friends  to allow you to get them in earlier 

   Take old 2 liter soda bottles.  Clear or green. Cut the bottoms off.  And place over your new transplants.  This.  Will give them a little more protection and super charge there growth
