The black Aztec is a super rare variety and is not commonly grown here in the usa
It's non GMO open pollinated heirloom variety dating back to the Aztecs
The stalks. Are 5 to 7 feet you will get 2 ears per stalk the ears are alittle on the short side but really big around. This is a dent or corn meal variety.
We used this variety in one of our three sisters plots
Will no fertilizer and we turned the hogs into it after we harvested.
We hand shucked this seed. All the imperfect ears went to the hogs
Will take about 100 days and will withstand a late frost
