Collection: Ultra early cold tolerant tomatoes
Hey folks here's a collection of our heirloom open pollinated tomatoes that will produce under cool conditions. Most of them are smaller saladette size. But. Nothing beats a freshly grown tomato. This this really important for those of us that try to earn our living off of what we grow. You can start indoors we recommend using pulp pots instead of trays. Cause tomatoes do not like there roots messed with. You will not find these in a big box store. These are hard to find varieties. That have been around for generations
. These varieties will grow in areas that normally won't produce tomatoes. These are hardy and are filled with home grown tomato goodness. We highly recommend useing red mulch.in the northern areas of the usa. The red instead of black will help and super charge. Your tomatoes.
Here's another trick. That we use for our extra early tomatoes get a 2 liter soda bottle cut the bottom off of if stick it over your transplants you can put them out about 10 days early and it will help grow strong healthy plants.

So try not to use plug trays use. Pulp pots or coco fiber pellets or soil blocks.
