Collection: Peppers

Peppers are a must have for any csa box or self respecting homestead.  We have a wide variety of peppers.  All open pollinated heirloom.  We recommend at least 3 varieties for every market you do.  The more of a selection you have the off you will be.

Peppers are very fussy! I know from experience just how fussy peppers can be.  Peppers are the hardest vegetables in your garden to germinate.
The most important thing to remember is peppers need to be kept in a warm space, they need a constant heat source and they only need to be covered with 1/4  of an inch of soil.
Peppers do not like their roots being messed with, they'll more  than likely die if you mess with their roots.
Plant peppers individually in pulp pots (do not use plastic!)
Expect peppers to germinate anywhere from 5-7 days
Good luck with planting peppers, the results will be worth it, so hang in there and don't give up!
**please note; peppers can be an indoor/outdoor plant**
