Kohlrobi has to be one of the forgotten garden favorites they are cold tolerant and easy to grow and transplant .  And are fairly quick.  Taking around only 

 55 days.  We carry only heirloom open-pollinated variety.  So they will grow true if your saving seeds

 You eat the bulb sort of like you would a apple but slice it. Up.
