Kale..

Kale is considered a super food and is very cold tolerant and easy to grow we have a great selection 

 We have started using kale in our pastures kale works wonderful for a high nutrient winter crop to keep your barn yard friends happy and not hungry.

Kale is a very hardy, resilient superfood, Kale seems to be all the rage right now for good reason and as an added bonus, Kale is very easy to grow.
For spacing, space your seeds 4-8 inches apart and 1/4-1/2 of an inch into the soil.
Kale can be over-wintered anywhere in the US.
Kale germinates in 5-7 days.
Helpful Hint: Keep kale leaves picked, harvest them once or twice per week, leaving 1/2 the leaves on the plant.
**Please Note If you let Kale go to seed, don't eat it, feed it to the chickens as it's become too bitter to eat**
