Asparagus

Asparagus is a very tasty addition to any ones garden 

 Will come back year after year.  

We recommend using mulch in the places that have really hard winters.  Please note from seed. You will have to wait until the second season to get asparagus spears. But they are normally the first vegetable in the spring to be harvested       we carry. Heirloom asparagus

  In longer growing season areas you can get two harvests a year. After your first harvest cover with black.plastic for about a month this will trick it into thinking it went through a winter.  Then it will send out new shoots.
