Israeli (Old Original) Cantaloupe

Israeli (Old Original) Cantaloupe is one of the best Heirloom, open-pollinated, melons all around. It has a near white flesh, very sweet, and it has a yellow orange rind. These are Non-GMO, Heirloom garden seeds at their best. This cantaloupe is very popular with gardeners and farmers market growers. If you want to add a unique melon to your line up, order this one for sure! They take about 90 days from seed. So, to all our northern gardener friends, get out the peat pots and get some early starts going. This is one of only white flesh cantaloupes we have ever seen. We are in zone 6, and this variety ripens the end of the first week of September for us.

Known in Israel as Ha'ogen, the Israel Melon is beloved for its beautiful appearance, deliciously sweet flavor, and early maturity. The melons, which mature in around 75 days, are near perfectly round and average 3 to 4 pounds each. Inside, they contain a juicy, light green flesh that is dripping with flavor. 

A classic middle east Melon favourite. A great staple in any season to be enjoyed year after year!
