Spring offers a wide range of vegetables that thrive in the milder temperatures and longer hours of daylight that spring brings.

Here are my recommendations for a Spring time garden:
1: Peas: Sugar snap peas and shelling peas are popular choices because they love the cooler weather and they produce sweet, crisp pods.
2: Lettuce: From butterhead to romaine lettuce, there are many varieties that flourish in spring time. This is the perfect time to enjoy salads from your homegrown greens.
3: Radishes: Radishes are one of the quickest growing vegetables. They add a spicy kick to salads and are perfect for beginners.
4: Cabbage: Cabbage is a cold-hardy leafy green which is also incredibly versatile. Ideal for coleslaw, sauerkraut or even stir fries!
5: Onions: Spring onions and green onions thrive in the cool spring weather. They add a mild, fresh flavour to your springtime dishes.

7: Spinach: Spinach is a must have for a spring time garden because they are packed with nutrients, excellent for salads and smoothies.
