Seed Growing Journey: Cucumbers Part 4

Hey guys.

I hope everyone is doing well,                             firstly I’d like to apologise for the lack of updates on this blog lately, I know I promised I’d never allow this blog to go quiet for long periods of time, but sometimes life gets in the way. So if you’re still here reading my work… thank you! Your support means a lot to me and it’s very much appreciated.

I’m here to share with you another update on my cucumber plant babies… and I can honestly say I never imagined I’d actually reach this point in my journey, there’s been times when I thought I’d done something horribly wrong and I’d lose everything I’d worked so hard for… but nature kept on surprising me and my plant babies resilience truly is outstanding.

As you can see from the picture below, my cucumber babies have come a long way… there’s flowers blossoming more and more every day and I can honestly say that they won’t be long now before they start bearing fruit…

but before that happens… they have one final important stage in their journey… and it’s the one that’s making me most nervous… I have to take the planter box… (which is nothing more than an old Amazon parcel box I repurposed to make a plant box with the help of an ordinary garbage bag.. it’s amazing what stuff you have in your home already that does the job just as well as buying a fancy planter box from a store!) and these little cucumber babies need to find their forever home in my garden…

what’s making me the most nervous is that when they’re finally in their forever home, they’re exposed to a lot more variables outdoors that I have little to no control over.. but the health of my plant babies outweighs my own personal reservations… so I guess I’m just going to have to bite the bullet and go for it!

I’ll keep you guys updated on how that goes :)

thank you for reading.

until next time,

Kim
