Reasons Why We Should Be Supporting Local Farmers & Farmer's Markets (Part One)

I hope everyone is doing well.

I know I've been talking a lot about the subject of supporting local farmers and farmer's markets a lot lately, and I will get back to sharing more about my personal seed growing journey soon, but the principal of buying from and supporting local small businesses and farmer's markets is so important and it needs to be talked about more... not less!

So why do I feel it's important to support small local farmers and farmer's markets?

Well for starters, when you buy from small farms or farmer's markets you have more control over the food you're using to feed your family, organic food is the way forward....

Plus for small farmers who sell their produce at farmer's markets, making a sale can make a huge difference to their livelihoods.
It's really important to support small local businesses because local businesses are the living heartbeat of a community! Getting the whole community involved in gardening projects is a really great way to bring the whole community closer together and that can only be a good thing!

I'm going to be talking a whole lot more about this because it's so important, I have so many more things I want to say about this, but I didn't want this blog post to turn into a long rambling post.
