Perennial Flower Ideas For A Fall Garden.
Share
Hey Guys,
I hope everyone is doing well.
This is another post in a series of post about perennial flower ideas for various times of year. This time around we're looking at a fall time garden.
So let's dive right in.
1: Japanese Anemone- Japanese anemones are a popular choice when it comes to perennial flowers. These elegant flowers come in pink or white varieties. Japanese anemones are ideal for shadier spots, although the do need some sun to flower well.
2: Dahlias- Most dahlias will keep on flowering until the first frosts, leaving a consistent sense of colour in your garden even after the summer perennials have died down.
3: Snapdragons- Also known as Antirrhinums, snapdragons provide flowers right from summer until October. There's plenty of colours to choose from, so there really is something from everyone. Snapdragons are great additions to your garden for attracting bees and butterflies.
4: Chrysanthemum- Personally these are one of my favourite flowers. They're colours are striking and they bloom in deep reds, through to blazing orange, yellow and white. They add the final pop of colour to your garden for the year.
This is the end of this series, keep an eye out on for next week's series, this time focusing on annual flower ideas for your garden.
Thank you for reading,
Until next time,
Kim
