A Guide To Choosing The Right Flowers For Your Garden (Part Two)

Hey Guys,
I hope everyone is doing well.

This is the second half to the first part about a guide to choosing the right flowers for your garden.

Sometimes the most overlooked things are the most obvious. Planting your own garden should never feel like it's hard work or a simple chore to tick off the to-do list, it's your time to have fun, to really bring your vision to life in a way that you've always wanted to.

So let's dive right in once again:

1: Garden Aspect- Your garden aspect is simply which way your garden faces. Is it north facing? South facing? This is important consideration as some flowers need more sun than others. You have to take the needs of your flowers into account when planning out your garden.
2: Soil Type- Most people won't think twice about what type of soil they have unless they are an experienced gardener. However, knowing what soil type you have can directly impact the types of flowers you can grow in your garden successfully.
3: Grassy Areas- Your lawn or grassy area can have a huge impact on what types of flowers you should grow in your garden. Maintaining both a large lawn and flowers can take a lot of work and if your focus is on creating a beautiful display, you may not have the time nor the energy to give either the flowerbeds or a natural lawn the attention they deserve. Planning your garden should be fun, never a chore.
4: Lighting Conditions- Everyone knows by now that flowers need light to grow, the important factor here is knowing how much light your garden needs. Different flowers have different light needs.
For each area of your garden where you intend to plant, note down whether it's in direct sunlight, partial sun, partial shade or full shade and plan your flower choices accordingly.

If anyone else has some interesting tips that I haven't included in this guide, feel free to let me know :)
